The Way I Manage My Projects with brightpod
Our team of Web developers and Digital Marketers are always busy creating new web sites and managing marketing plans for all types of businesses and new business ventures. Our team is spread out across the world so it is necessary to have a central location where everyone can check all tasks and communicate easily. Brightpod helps us accomplish this by bringing everyone together in one place; like an online office.
I start my day by reviewing the previous day’s progress on Brightpod and checking to see what tasks were completed and what is still left to do. Then I will either mark tasks as completed or give more details on what is still needed to complete each task.
After all current tasks have been reviewed and updated, I will check emails and assign new tasks to the team by easily forwarding the tasks directly from email into Brightpod.
Once everyone on the team has their tasks for the day, I am able to focus on other aspects of the company such as billing, sales, and client relations.
1. Making organized lists of tasks for each client and adding deadlines to each product so that everyone knows their priorities.
2. Utilizing screen sharing technology for meetings rather than needing to meet in person.
3. Delegating as many tasks as possible quickly to the team through Brightpod.
Brightpod helps us to manage our web design/development and internet marketing campaigns for each of our clients. We work with many types of businesses in a wide range of industries, from small local web sites to new high technology ventures.
We were previously using Trello, but switched to Brightpod because it offers many more features such as better organization of projects, clients, and advanced reporting, so that we have a better view of what’s going on with each task and every client.
I can’t think of anything, we just love it for our task management.
There was a slight learning curve when it came to figuring out how to use all of the features and how to best make use of Brightpod for our company. Now, it’s a breeze for all of us and we’re very happy with how it keeps track of everything so nicely.
The “Send” feature that allows us to forward emails directly to our Brightpod tasks lists. Once we figured out how to assign tasks right from e-mails, we were hooked!
We would definitely be lost without Brightpod! Our company relies on this platform very heavily to keep track of everything going on with the company and with our clients.
One thing that we feel sets Brightpod apart from other task management software, is the fact that their developers are always willing to take suggestions for improvements or new feature additions. We were very surprised when our request was accommodated within just a few days. It’s like we have our own custom developers on call to fill our needs. Keep up the good work Brightpod!
