The Way I Manage My Projects with brightpod
It’s busy. We have clients across many industries, and we act as an extension of their marketing teams to provide all aspects of their digital marketing. A day can include something from creating a Facebook campaign to implementing a technical SEO strategy.
I start my day by answering emails, looking in Brightpod and creating a to-do list and then I get down to work!
Answer emails twice a day (once in morning and once mid-afternoon), use a project management software like Brightpod, and have all processes in place so employees know exactly how they should complete a task. This allows for less management and gives employees the ability to self-manage, which is important when working with the younger Gen-Ys.
We manage all digital marketing activities for our clients in Brightpod. This can include SEO, Social, Content Marketing, Email Marketing – anything digital! We currently have two team members in Brightpod (our company is a year old) and will be adding more in the Fall.
My team and I have tried a variety of project management software including Asana and Basecamp. What attracted me to Brightpod is it’s specifically for digital marketing agencies like Cloudburst Marketing.
Not that I can think of.
Brightpod was very easy to adjust to after using a variety of other project management cloud-based software. Not much of a learning curve at all, which made it extremely cost effective to adopt.
I love how the Pods automatically populate with an “Ideas” area. I’ve always hated not having a place to write down future ideas for each client, so that’s a feature I was really excited to begin using. I quickly just enter the idea, then I can forget about it and continue what I was doing. So easy!
I would feel terribly disappointed. Brightpod’s adoption has been real smooth in our organization.
I would love to see reporting added (time tracking for one resource across all pods, usability tracking, gantt charts for projects, etc.). I have a ton of ideas!
